TIES FPC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the TIES FPC Staff (the “Application”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal and device data when employees and authorized staff members use our Application.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle sensitive user data in compliance with the Google Play User Data Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide employee management, attendance verification, and activity logging features, the Application requires access to certain sensitive device capabilities and data.

A. Location Data (GPS)

  • What we collect: High-accuracy geographic location coordinates (GPS).
  • When we collect it: Location data is collected in the foreground when you mark your attendance (Login/Logout) or log an on-duty movement.
  • Why we collect it: Location data is required to verify that employees are physically present at designated farm sites, office locations, or official routes during duty hours.
  • Transparency: Location data is never collected silently in the background when you are off-duty or logged out.

B. Camera and Photos

  • What we collect: Access to your device’s camera and local image storage.
  • Why we collect it: Required to take and upload real-time progress photos when submitting activity registers or marking task completions. These photos serve as physical proof of work done at FPC operational sites.
  • Transparency: We do not read your personal photo gallery. The app only accesses files explicitly captured or chosen for upload in relation to an assigned task.

C. Microphone and Audio (Speech-to-Text)

  • What we collect: Temporary access to your device’s microphone.
  • Why we collect it: Used exclusively to convert your spoken descriptions into text when dictating notes for activity logs, reports, or task feedback.
  • Transparency: The Application does not record, stream, or store raw audio files. Audio is processed solely on-device to convert speech to text.

D. Push Notifications and Device Information

  • What we collect: Device identifiers and push tokens.
  • Why we collect it: Used to deliver administrative announcements, task assignments, and duty notifications, as well as showing notifications for active progress state.

2. Data Storage, Security, and Sharing

  • Data Transmission and Security: All uploaded files and activity records are transmitted securely over encrypted channels and stored in secure cloud database and storage environments.
  • Local Storage: Temporary local copies of media files are automatically deleted from your device after a successful upload.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data, location history, or media files with third parties. Your data is strictly used for internal TIES FPC corporate and operations management.

3. User Control and Revoking Permissions

You can choose to deny or revoke permissions for Location, Camera, Microphone, or Notifications at any time through your device's system settings. Please note that disabling these permissions may limit your ability to access or use certain key functionalities and features within the Application.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize standard third-party developer services and SDKs (such as authentication, database hosting, and crash analytics services) to ensure secure authentication, stable data storage, and performance monitoring. These services handle data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

The Application is designed exclusively for adult employees and authorized staff of TIES FPC. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top.
