Precise and Approximate Location: We collect device location data to enable:

  • Verification of check-in and check-out attendance.
  • Movement recording and route logging for authorized field tasks and travel allowance calculations.
  • Verification that field activities are performed at designated operational sites.

c. Device and Diagnostic Information

  • Device manufacturer, model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Network status, app crash logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic information to troubleshoot issues.

d. Camera and Storage Data

Camera / Photos: When you submit expense receipts, site verification photos, or field activity updates, the app may request permission to access the camera or device storage to capture and upload images.


2. How We Use Collected Information

We use the collected data solely for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

  • Managing and verifying employee field attendance and timesheets.
  • Tracking official field movement and calculating travel allowances.
  • Assigning, monitoring, and tracking completion of field tasks and assignments.
  • Providing push notifications for urgent operational updates and task assignments.
  • Ensuring security, preventing fraudulent activity, and troubleshooting technical errors.
  • Complying with organizational audits and record-keeping requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or sensitive data to third parties for advertising or commercial marketing purposes.

  • Your Organization / Employer: Operational reports, attendance records, location logs, and task submissions are shared with your organization's administrators and authorized managers.

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: When required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation.

  • Data Retention: We retain operational and profile information for as long as your organizational account remains active or as required by your employer's record retention and compliance policies.
  • Data Security: We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures (including TLS encryption in transit and encrypted storage) to protect personal and location data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Permissions and User Control

The app requests the following device permissions only when necessary:

  • Location (Fine/Coarse): To log movement, field activities, and attendance. You can modify location permissions at any time via your device settings, though certain tracking and attendance features may become unavailable.
  • Camera / Media Storage: To attach proof-of-work photos, expense bills, and receipts.
  • Notifications: To receive assignment alerts, leave status updates, and broadcast messages.

6. Children's Privacy

The TIES Field Tool is an enterprise workforce management tool designed exclusively for authorized business personnel and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


7. Account Deletion and Data Requests

Authorized users may request the review, update, or deletion of their account or personal data by contacting their organization's system administrator or by reaching out to us directly at the contact details below. Account deactivation will cease all future data collection.
